Those bags of silver scrap from the studio clean up 2 weeks ago?     $990 worth of credit at Rio Grande.

I just spent it all on an order of fresh PMC, fine silver wire, Argentium sterling wire, fine silver and Argentium tubing,  a case of earring size jewelry boxes, a tiny anvil and a brass hammer, some heavier black 49 strand beadalon, polishing pads, a rubber block, a cone doming plate, and some spiral wax cutting saw blades to use on the Faux Bone™ I am itching to try. Fine silver pendants with riveted Faux Bone insets are calling to me, “Try something new! You’ll like it!”

HOLY MOLY!!!!! that is a LOT of scrap!
i can’t wait to see your riveted faux bone! do you think you can fire argentium with pmc, if it’s not supposed to tarnish? that’s been on my mind, lately…..

      Hi Holly,
A lot of scrap and a lot of crap!
I don’t think you can fire Argentium w/ PMC. Unless you depletion gild the surface first, so that you have fine silver on the surface. Argentium is still sterling.
You’ll be waiting a while for the faux bone and rivets! But I’ll get there.

Wow! That’s awesome. You’ve inspired me to round up all my bits and pieces and turn them into something a bit more useful!

      Hey Jackie,
Round up that scrap. You won’t be sorry! I did check your Etsy site. Nice! I have more to add to mine, but slow with the photos.
