…but still working on those background colors and the lighting, especially for necklace photos. (I want the instant gratification of already knowing how to get a great shot, not just taking a chance. Oh well, trial and error. It takes time to learn from experience, so I’m still a student.)
Below is the kind of instant gratification I want above. Super macro point and click.
The base of a flower arrangement, taken somewhat surreptitiously by candle light, at a recent dinner party.
VERY nice clasps.
These photos are looking good to me. I love the flower macro shot.
How about a slightly lighter background for the clasps?
I’m NOT a professional photographer. But since I have my little setup ready and waiting, a few lighting adjustments is all I usually need to do the photos. It doesn’t take that much time, but would if I had to set it all up every time.

Hi Anita,
Thanks for the feedback. I always appreciate it. You make a good point about having a photography set up ready and waiting. I do have to set mine up every time and I like natural light the best, so I try to pick my days. But with leaves coming out and the sun angle changing, my set ups and opportunities are always changing.

Hi Holly,
I will probably save a few of them for Alone Moose Gallery in Bar Harbor. (http://finemainecrafts.com/gallery.html)
They open sooner than I think! But I need to refresh my Etsy shop too…
