   The beads coming out of this workshop have such a lovely organic feel. One of the things I love about metal clay is the fluid shapes you can acheive that just aren’t possible to do with sheet metal. Very inspiring!

     It was so interesting to see everyone’s results. We draped a lot of clay over copper wire structures and then let it dry on a cup warmer. The metal clay on metal dried quickly and popped right off the support structure without having to use a release agent. We were aiming for bead shapes that would be really hard or impossible to fabricate from sheet.
